I am very much happy because working at the bank is one of my dream jobs in the near future and spending my immersion there, even in just a short span of time had really opened my eyes on how fun at the same time, stressful to be working at the bank. So far, my experience there was fun at the same time, I can say that it is also somewhat boring because most of my time was wasted by sitting and waiting for nothing.
Because there are 5 OJTs there, including me. While the other two are me and my classmate Judy Ann. All you have to do is wait and be patient if there is something that is assigned to you. After a few weeks of immersion, I have realized some things that will really be useful for my future.

A journey that would make us realize that science is not a mere concept taught inside a classroom and make us gaze in amazement how these scientific concepts are applied in the world. During the immersionthe students are expected to collaborate with the community especially in implementing the project proposal they came up. Thus, the project proposal of the students should be an answer or a solution the community need for a specific and identified community or social problem. Here are some definitions of Community Immersion : - It is a form of service learning that is integrated with a student passions and interests.
The University of Southern California USC and its School of Social Work is no exception to this training, thus community immersion is a mandatory requirement for accepted students.
The Importance of Immersion
Community immersion gives students the opportunity to explore the idea of community and concepts of community. Geographical, identification and interest, and collective relationships of an individual are different types of communities social workers may encounter and provide social services. Netting et al. Whereas pulling debris from a river would be classified as community service, at EUACS an explicit educational component — such as studying the causes of river pollution and how to advocate for environmental policy reform — makes it community immersion learning.
It also provides another avenue for students to discover new interests and meet potential LTI Mentors. It might be the scenery, the job opportunities, or, simply, the richness of culture and history.
